NICHIDO VOLUME LASH MASCARA REVIEW

My eyelashes are not really long and bold that I'm looking for a mascara that could make my eyelashes look good. I was on the cosmetics section that day when I found this product; NICHIDO VOLUME LASH MASCARA. What struck me most with this mascara is the product description:

"Have a spectacular fanned-out lash effect to attract everyone!”

Its regular price is Php 228.00 and is available in all Nichido outlets nationwide.

Packaging of the product

There is nothing special with the packaging. I love the combination of colors that were used on the packaging of the product: pink and black. The packaging on the picture says it all; you decide. 

For the information of everyone, if you see a short open bottle illustration with 6M on the right side, that's the expiration. It says, once you open it, it will expire after 6 months.

                                     Mascara Bristles

The shape of it is quite unique. The bristles of the mascara are not the usual mascara bristles; they are like soft, foamy plastic bristles. Hope this bristles work!

My eyelashes are short and it's not thick. Now look as this is how the mascara looks like when applied to my eyelashes.

         

My eyelashes don't really curl that much since I haven't use an eyelash curler but I presume it will curl more if I use a curler. After 6 hours of using the product, I could say that it's quite long-wearing and there are no smudges. It is really smudge-proof. I’m always afraid of smudges because it might make me a monster without sleep or a woman who cried all night. 

It’s also a clump-free mascara. I just realize that it's not really good to judge directly the product. My eyelashes didn't clump and I love it. It also adds volume and length to my eyelashes; not really much but the result is enough to change the look of my eyelashes.

I could say that Nichido Volume Lash mascara is good mascara. I like how this mascara works and it’s clump-free but I am still looking for another type of mascara to compare. Will I purchase it again? I think as of now, no. I will just look for other mascara products out there and discover their performance too. Will I recommend this product? Yes of course, I will recommend this product since it has a nice effect on my lashes and the product description also really works. So, that's it. I'm always on the look out for a better lotion which is compatible to my skin type. Until one day I found out of this lotion while I was roaming around in the mall's beauty section; MYRA VITAWHITE WHITENING HAND AND BODY LOTION. I'm not really into whitening products but the product description captured by heart. It says, it helps keep skin healthy and young-looking, it has ActiLight Complex which is derived from plant extracts that gently whitens skin, it has SPF 15 with Double Sunscreen protection against UVA and UVB rays to protect skin from the harmful effects of the sun, Pro Moisture formula that helps keep skin extra smooth and soft, it has bursting beads enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E that gets absorbed into the skin to protect and nourish it, and it is hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested so your assurance that is effective and safe.

I was out-stand that the product doesn't just focus on the whitening job but also on nourishing the skin. The product comes with a 50 ml tube and 200 ml tube with a price Php 55.00 and Php 165.00, respectively. This product can be bought to all department stores and drugstores nationwide.

There's nothing really special about the bottle but it looks elegant. It comes with a pleasing packaging, added with enough information for the costumers. 

            How the lotion looks like

As what you can see, the lotion is color white with orange beads. According to the product description, those orange beads are enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E. It is not sticky, so you don’t have to worry of that sticky feeling after using it. It also smells good. The smell is quite addictive-- try smelling it and you don’t want to stop smelling it. The fragrance that they used is so refreshing and also mild that it can’t make you feel dizzy. It’s just oozing with fragrance. I hope my skin will smell like this forever.

What I like about this lotion is when you apply it on your skin; it’s easily being absorbed by the skin. So as what I’ve said earlier, you will experience non-sticky feeling after using it. And remember the orange beads on the lotion? They will just go together with the lotion and absorbed by the skin. You can also feel the smoothness of your skin after using it. I also love that this lotion has SPF and double sunscreen protection, worry no more for the sun exposure.

What I don’t like about this lotion is that, after using it and after the lotion is being absorbed by the skin, my skin looks dry but when I touch it, it’s so smooth. I don’t know why but that thing really happens after applying the lotion. 

 I am a Filipina with a combination type of skin and based on my experience, after using it for more than a month now; I could feel the smoothness of my skin. Before using this product, I could really feel the dullness of my skin and I felt so sad about it. My skin lacks smoothness and it just makes me look old. So, I’m just happy with the smoothening result of this product. I haven’t experienced any irritation after using this product. On the whitening side, I haven’t noticed some lightening effect on my skin. It seems that the color of my skin is just the same as before. But I think if I’ll continue on using it for more than a year, perhaps, I could experience any lightening effect by then.

CONS:

• the bottle is too thick 
• my skin looks dry after the lotion is being absorbed by the skin 
• I didn’t noticed any whitening effect on my skin 
  

Will I purchase this product again? Yes, of course. Because of all the lotions that I’ve used before, this product is really compatible on my skin and it doesn’t irritate it. It is also safe and effective so I’m not scared of using it. Highly recommended.
