Watsons Haul Philippines: My New Skincare Routine 2021

Hello everyone! I hope you had an amazing day. So right now, I just feel like sharing to you guys the products I bought at Watsons. It's a mini haul of my new skincare routine.

Just so you know I felt so guilty of using harsh chemicals on my skin. I realized that I need to make shift from the harsh ones to the gentle ones to take good care of it. Moreover, I bought products which could help in hydrating my skin as my skin tends to get dry and dull these days.

Let's get started!

Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash with NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor)

The first one on the list is the Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash. I've heard a lot of good reviews about this product so I give it a try.

It claims to have mild cleansing agents and a special combination of moisturizers that gently yet effectively clean without drying your skin.

  • dermatologist tested
  • non-comedogenic
  • hypoallergenic
  • fragrance-free

It cost Php 89.00 for a 60 mL variant.

Celeteque Hydration Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash with Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads

So I bought another variant of facial wash from the Celeteque Hydration line. It is the Celeteque Hydration Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash with Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads. I bought this to exfoliate my skin. I will not use it everyday (will use it for like 2-3 times a week) as I heard that everyday exfoliation is not good for the skin.

It claims to have Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads, infused with Vitamin E and C that gently burst to help nourish and protect the skin. It has sphere-shaped microbeads for gentle yet effective facial exfoliation.

  • cleanse 2 in 1 care moisture
  • dermatologist tested
  • non-comedogenic
  • hypoallergenic
  • fragrance-free

It cost Php 89.00 for a 60 mL variant.

Celeteque Hydration Alcohol-free Toner with Witch Hazel Extract

Next on the line is the Celeteque Hydration Toner. It claims to help remove the last traces of stubborn dirt without drying the skin. It contains Witch Hazel Extract which helps soothe the skin. It also claims to recondition the skin to prepare it for moisturizing.

  • dermatologist tested
  • for sensitive to dry skin
  • non-comedogenic
  • hypoallergenic
  • fragrance-free

The 65 mL bottle costs Php 82.00.

Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer with Triple Moisturizing System

I want to moisturize my skin for it not to look dull so I bought this moisturizer. It claims to have a unique hydrogel formulation that provides the skin with optimum hydration without the greasy after-feel. Its triple moisturizing system contains Glycerin, Pro-Vitamin B5, and Aloe Vera that works deep down to provide lasting relief from skin dryness. It has Dimethicone that seals in the skin's moisture and it leaves you with soft, smooth, and supple skin.
  • dermatologist tested
  • water-based and oil-free
  • non-comedogenic
  • hypoallergenic
  • fragrance-free

It costs Php 150.00 for a 50 mL bottle.

Belo Sunexpert SPF 40 PA+++

Last but not the least is the Belo. I also heard a lot good reviews from vloggers about this suncreen. I also want to protect my skin against the harmful rays of the sun so I bought the one with SPF 40. It claims to provide broad spectrum protection against harmful UV rays. It has Cell Protect Formula that strengthens the skin's defense system while preventing accelerated premarure skin aging.

  • non-sticky
  • non-comedogenic
  • anti-aging
  • paraben-free

This 20 mL variant costs Php 180.00.

So those are the products which I bought from Watsons and will be my new skincare routine. Another reason that I bought these products aside from the fact that they doesn't have harsh chemicals is that they're non-comodogenic which means that these products won't clog or block the pores (as clogged pores would result to acne or other impurities). It's also made from the Philippines; support local.

*Crossed fingers* I am just about to start using these products and I hope it works. I'll just update you guys about the effect of this product in no time.

Thank you so much for reading!

Charmee Feminine Pads Menstrual Pants Review

It's the second day of my period when I went out in the city to accompany my sister with her errands. I was a bit worried since I had a heavy menstrual flow that time and I tend to change pads everytime. It's also a bit hassle since due to the heavy flow, I can't sit comfotably as I'm afraid that the blood may leak on my dress. I brought with me 4 pieces night use pads but the 4 pcs. of pads were already consumed due to the heavy flow.

With that, I went to Watsons to buy menstrual pads. To my surprise, I found out about this Charmee Menstrual Pants. I was in awe knowing that it's actually pants for menstruation. I only knew that these pants are present for babies but never thought that something is also available for ladies for their period. I bought this for Php 56.00. There are already 2 pants inside this pack. It is in size medium with waist size of 24"-35".

The picture below is the back of the packaging with the pants' features and directions of use:

Talking about the product itself, it comes with a packaging same as the usual menstrual pads.

The product itself is like the diaper pants for babies but this one is light weight.

What I love about this product:

This product is indeed a life-saver. What a great relief of knowing this product when I needed it the most. To be honest, I was hesitant at first as the pants was very light weight and slim and I thought that the blood might still leak. But to my surprise this pants did its purpose on giving full protection. The pants also absorbs the blood so no worries of leaks. Not to mention, it's very comfortable to use plus it doesn't irritate the skin after use. I also the other pants for overnight use and all could say is even my period was still heavy, still no leak. For someone who has heavy menstrual flow like me, this product is truly remarkable!

What I don't like about this product:

I have no negative things to say about this product as it did its purpose on giving full protection against leaks during heavy periods.

Will I recommend it? Absolutely, YES! It's a must for heavy period, overnight use or even post natal period.

Myra Moisturizing Plus Vitamin Lotion Review

As I was strolling in the grocery store last time, looking for a skin lotion, I found this new variant of Myra lotion. Out of curiosity and with the thought that I need to try it since my skin tends to get dry these days, I bought one.

This 200 mL bottle lotion costs Php 150.00-- truly budget friendly for a lotion with this mL. I bought it at Gaisano Supermarket. Even at this price, the lotion's packaging never fail to look elegant. I love its design, abstract and amazing!

At the back of the bottle comes the product claims, directions, and ingredients.

Here's a zoomed view of the back of the bottle for you to read what's written:

In terms of the lotion itself, its color is white. I enjoy its smell as it's gentle on the nose when I get to smell it. Moreover, the consistency of the lotion is pretty great as well. It's kinda flowy and I could easily glide the lotion on my skin.

What I love about the product:

I love how easy it is to apply on the skin. It absorbs so easily on my skin as well. The heavenly scent of it reminds me of summer. It doesn't give me that sticky feeling after applying. Needless to say, it works well on my skin as it makes my skin moisturize all day.

What I don't like about the product:

So far I haven't noticed any unpleasant sides about this product as I was too focused on its moisturizing effect. It worked well on my skin so I have no complain about the other sides of it.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely, YES! Affordable yet promising product.
