Ever since I started wearing glasses, I always wanted to take care of my eyewear fully. I guess it's an investment to take extra care of it knowing that my eyes are already having problems and without my glasses, I will surely not be able to see things clearly.

Having said that, I look for ways on how to clean my glasses in properly. That's when I realize that I need a proper solution to cleanse it for it not to get scratched or foggy in someway.

With that, I searched for solutions that would be a great help for my glasses and that's when I knew about the Sunnies Care Kit. Just so you know, I got my glasses from Sunnies and the frame name is Marcel in Husk.

Moreover, the Sunnies Care Kit is the set that I'm supposed to buy knowing that it already has the tool for unscrewing the frame and there's a solution and an anti-fog wipe. However, no matter where I look for this care kit, I can't seem to find one that's available: be it online or even in their physical stores.

Nevertheless, since I only need the solution for cleaning since I have the tool already and the anti-fog wipe, and it's available in Sunnies official store online, I just ordered the Sunnies Clean Lens online. Needless to say, I was ecstatic after it arrived as I was so excited to try it on my glasses for cleaning.

This is what the bottle looks like. Actually the bottle is so minimalist and I love it. The color looks pleasant in the eyes as well. I love how Sunnies never give so much details on the packaging, but leaving the text minimal but with class.

Based from my experience, the product is indeed a promising one. It's so gentle on the lens that the coat never gets wiped out and it has a no smell at all. I could say that it indeed eliminates the dust around the lens as well as the foggy areas or the oils that get dumped in someway. So far, I so love this solution so much and that's an honest review as someone who cares for my glasses.

But then, I also noticed something or perhaps a recommendation in using this cleaner. As what I've observed, an ordinary wipe cloth will not do so much on the lens, leaving a worst look. So much better use an anti-fog wipe cloth as it helps so much in cleaning the lens so much better. Just so you know, I actually love to look around especially when my lens just got cleaned by the help of this lens solution from Sunnies as well as using the anti-fog wipe cloth. They're just great combination and I can't help but fall inlove.

Above all, Sunnies Clean Lens did its job indeed to eliminated dust, dirt and even grime on the lens. It's also helpful in cleaning my phone's camera lens as well as it's just so gentle and useful in so many ways. I'm just so happy to purchase such product and so far it's so good that I will surely purchase one in the future, once this bottle will be emptied.

Just this April 2022, I noticed that there's something wrong with my eyes. For instance, whenever I try to look in the view at a distance, I can't seem to see the details around vividly. Not just that, whenever I look at the television, I could see glares on the texts presented and even find the people's faces so blurry. With that, I decided to get my eyes check.

Having said that, I tried looking for an optical clinic which could be a perfect place for my eye needs. The thought that I have in mind is that, if my eyes are already having a problem, I want to wear some glasses that fit so well on my face shape, as well as, fashionable.

With my thorough research on where to get my eyes checked, I decided to choose Sunnies Specs Optical.

To be honest, I didn't know at first that Sunnies is offering services such as doing eye check up and making prescription glasses. I just knew about it when my cousin got her new glasses in the Sunnies store. Not to mention, as the store captured my heart, I decided to go and get my eye checked.

So we went to Ayala Malls where there's a Sunnies Specs Optical branch.

Steps in Getting Your Eyewear in Sunnies Specs Optical

I admit, when I first entered in the Sunnies store, I was nervous. The thought that I don't know what to do and I was not aware on the steps how to get my first eyewear scares me a lot. Good thing I was with my friends that time and helped a lot to lessen my nervousness.

Nevertheless, if you wanted to get your eyes check in Sunnies, fret not as I will share the steps towards getting your very own Sunnies specs as well.

1. Choose the frame of the glasses you love.

What I love about Sunnies Specs is that there are a lot of frames to choose from. And they're not just basic frames, they are so stylish and elegant. With that, I was having a hard time looking for one.

By the way, what I love in Sunnies Specs is that, after you try the frame on your face, they will disinfect them afterwards which is so good.

After looking for that one frame that fits for me, I finally came up with a decision to choose the frame Marcel in Husk variant. I love it so much as it's size is just right for me and the frame design looks stylish.

2. Inform the staff and fill out the information needed.

Once ready for the next step, give the frame to the staff and get check if the frame is available. The staff will then let you to fill up a form in a tablet that the staff will give.

3. Time for eye checkup.

One you're done filling out the form, just wait for the time when the doctor is available and is ready to get your eyes checked.

To be honest, I was nervous during the check up because it's my first time, good thing the doctor is approachable and nice and with that, my nervousness vanishes.

The doctor showed me a screen wherein I'm wearing a quite weird frame wherein he changes the lens to check if I can handle the grade and so on.

4. Walking around to check if the lens fit so well.

Once the lens fit perfectly on the eyes, the doctor will then instruct you to walk around using the lens that the doctor placed in my eyes. Just so you know, I was so happy knowing that I could see the world around clearly and things are better.

5. Pay to the cashier.

I paid a total of Php 3999 for everything. By the way, I added anti-radiation for my glasses that's what the total amount paid.

6. Wait for the message for claiming.

As per instruction, I can roam around the mall freely as it takes around 3 hours for the glasses to be ready. They will just send a message once it's up for grab.

I was feeling excited and nervous to get my glasses and after I got it, I checked if it fits perfectly on my eyes and it did.

7. Try the glasses.

So here's a photo of me wearing the glasses Marcel in Husk. By the way, my upper is fine, that's just a design hehe.

Overall, the experience that I had in Sunnies Specs Optical is so good that next time, if I need to get another glasses, I would still grab one in their store. Superb!

Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash with NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor)

The first one on the list is the Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash. I've heard a lot of good reviews about this product so I give it a try.

It claims to have mild cleansing agents and a special combination of moisturizers that gently yet effectively clean without drying your skin.

Celeteque Hydration Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash with Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads

So I bought another variant of facial wash from the Celeteque Hydration line. It is the Celeteque Hydration Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash with Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads. I bought this to exfoliate my skin. I will not use it everyday (will use it for like 2-3 times a week) as I heard that everyday exfoliation is not good for the skin.

It claims to have Dual Vitamin Nourishing Beads, infused with Vitamin E and C that gently burst to help nourish and protect the skin. It has sphere-shaped microbeads for gentle yet effective facial exfoliation.

Celeteque Hydration Alcohol-free Toner with Witch Hazel Extract

Next on the line is the Celeteque Hydration Toner. It claims to help remove the last traces of stubborn dirt without drying the skin. It contains Witch Hazel Extract which helps soothe the skin. It also claims to recondition the skin to prepare it for moisturizing.

Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer with Triple Moisturizing System

I want to moisturize my skin for it not to look dull so I bought this moisturizer. It claims to have a unique hydrogel formulation that provides the skin with optimum hydration without the greasy after-feel. Its triple moisturizing system contains Glycerin, Pro-Vitamin B5, and Aloe Vera that works deep down to provide lasting relief from skin dryness. It has Dimethicone that seals in the skin's moisture and it leaves you with soft,smooth, and supple skin.

Belo Sunexpert SPF 40 PA+++

Last but not the least is the Belo. I also heard a lot good reviews from vloggers about this suncreen. I also want to protect my skin against the harmful rays of the sun so I bought the one with SPF 40. It claims to provide broad spectrum protection against harmful UV rays. It has Cell Protect Formula that strengthens the skin's defense system while preventing accelerated premarure skin aging.

This 20 mL variant costs Php 180.00.

So those are the products which I bought from Watsons and will be my new skincare routine. Another reason that I bought these products aside from the fact that they doesn't have harsh chemicals is that they're non-comodogenic which means that these products won't clog or block the pores (as clogged pores would result to acne or other impurities). It's also made from the Philippines; support local.

*Crossed fingers* I am just about to start using these products and I hope it works. I'll just update you guys about the effect of this product in no time.

It's the second day of my period when I went out in the city to accompany my sister with her errands. I was a bit worried since I had a heavy menstrual flow that time and I tend to change pads everytime. I only knew that these pants are present for babies but never thought that something is also available for ladies for their period. I bought this for Php 56.00. There are already 2 pants inside this pack. It is in size medium with waist size of 24"-35".

Talking about the product itself, it comes with a packaging same as the usual menstrual pads.

The product itself is like the diaper pants for babies but this one is light weight.

What I love about this product:

This product is indeed a life-saver. What a great relief of knowing this product when I needed it the most. To be honest, I was hesitant at first as the pants was very light weight and slim and I thought that the blood might still leak. But to my surprise this pants did its purpose on giving full protection. The pants also absorbs the blood so no worries of leaks. Not to mention, it's very comfortable to use plus it doesn't irritate the skin after use. I also the other pants for overnight use and all could say is even my period was still heavy, still no leak. For someone who has heavy menstrual flow like me, this product is truly remarkable!

What I don't like about this product:

I have no negative things to say about this product as it did its purpose on giving full protection against leaks during heavy periods.

Will I recommend it? Absolutely, YES! It's a must for heavy period, overnight use or even post natal period.

Whenever I look for products in a beauty corner, Loreal products will never be out of my sight. Loreal indeed resonated its name in the market for years. They also have their lipstick which we're going to review today.

LOREAL COLOR RICHE MATTE is the name of the line and if you love shades pink to purple, you'll surely love this. I have 4 shades available and I'll show you swatches and thoughts of these lipsticks. I bought these lipsticks for Php 350.00 each at Watsons.

The packaging of this lipstick is pretty lux. The combination of the leather looking design plus gold blended so well in my sight.

In terms of scent, there's quite a fragrance but it smells good and it will just fade away after being applied on the lips.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

In just one swipe, this lipstick already caters my lips and its pigmented- I don't need to add more stroke on my lips for one stroke is enough. It glided so smooth on my lips and it made my lip lines almost unnoticeable which is very surprising.

It's also comfortable to wear and it's so light on the lips. It has a velvet matte finish. Although it's a matte lipstick it doesn't make my lips dry, instead, it made my lips smooth. I presume it's because of the Jojoba oil that they added to the formulation.

The price is not as budget-friendly as other brands but it's a reasonable price for this line.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

What I found unlikely with this product is it's not kissed proof. It's not really like the other matte available elsewhere-- it's a demi-matte.

It's not that long-lasting as well especially if eating is involved. But the faded lipstick on the lipstick doesn't look bad anyway. It will still give a nice fade on your lips.

VERDICT

Moreover, I may find unlikely about this line but it doesn't affect the overall performance of the product for this product delivers a superb performance. I highly recommend this product to those lipstick lovers out there who wants to have a velvet finish matte on their lips.

Ever Bilena also never settle to be left behind. As the trend of lip stains or lip tints rise in the market, EB made their line of lip stain for the consumers to try. Moreover, I presume that you already heard about Ever Bilena Lip and Cheek Roller. I honestly heard a lot of good reviews about it. But of course, to attest that it's really good, I gave it a try-- to see is to believe as they say. Is the roller worth the hype?

With the roller in mind, I went to Watsons and bought Ever Bilena Lip and Cheek Roller in Uptown Red for Php 130.00. I chose this shade because I love lip tints with a reddish-orange color. Without further ado, let's move on to the review.

The stain is water-based and it doesn't have a stingy smell. The smell is almost unnoticeable but that's fine-- the smell is never the deal here but the product itself.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

At first, I was hesitant about this product since it's water-based and it might look patchy on my lips. Howbeit, as I try it out on my lips, I was surprised that it could cater to color my lips even on the upper part, it's not patchy and it's pigmented. It could also glide easily on the lips; so easy to apply. Unlike other stains, the roller of this product glides smoothly even weeks or I presume months of using it.

This roller doesn't have a bitter taste unlike other brands and it's comfortable to wear even when it dries-- it's also transfer-proof.

I also love that this product is budget-friendly and paraben-free.

This stain is also long-lasting easily if you're not eating watery or oily food too much, hence it will easily be erased.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

One thing that I find unpleasant with this product is when I apply it on my cheeks. Honestly, I love to try the blush look effect which is very hyped on social media, however, this roller tends to look patchy on my checks as it dries easily.

Since it dries easily on cheeks, what I did is I grab cotton, put a small amount of water on it, glide the roller on top and apply it on my cheeks. This works if the stain easily gets dry. You may try it as well. (You're welcome)

VERDICT

Just like other products, this stain has its good sides and downsides. Howbeit, it has more positive sides that I experienced while using this product so I gave this a thumbs up. Will I recommend this? Yes, I would recommend this product to those who wanted to have a budget-friendly lip and cheek roller which is paraben-free.
