MYRA VITAWHITE WHITENING HAND AND BODY LOTION REVIEW

I'm always on the look out for a better lotion which is compatible to my skin type. Until one day I found out of this lotion while I was roaming around in the mall's beauty section; MYRA VITAWHITE WHITENING HAND AND BODY LOTION. I'm not really into whitening products but the product description captured by heart. It says, it helps keep skin healthy and young-looking, it has ActiLight Complex which is derived from plant extracts that gently whitens skin, it has SPF 15 with Double Sunscreen protection against UVA and UVB rays to protect skin from the harmful effects of the sun, Pro Moisture formula that helps keep skin extra smooth and soft, it has bursting beads enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E that gets absorbed into the skin to protect and nourish it, and it is hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested so your assurance that is effective and safe.

I was out-stand that the product doesn't just focus on the whitening job but also on nourishing the skin. The product comes with a 50 ml tube and 200 ml tube with a price Php 55.00 and Php 165.00, respectively. This product can be bought to all department stores and drugstores nationwide.

There's nothing really special about the bottle but it looks elegant. It comes with a pleasing packaging, added with enough information for the costumers. 

As what you can see, the lotion is color white with orange beads. According to the product description, those orange beads are enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E. It is not sticky, so you don’t have to worry of that sticky feeling after using it. It also smells good. The smell is quite addictive-- try smelling it and you don’t want to stop smelling it. The fragrance that they used is so refreshing and also mild that it can’t make you feel dizzy. It’s just oozing with fragrance. I hope my skin will smell like this forever.

What I like about this lotion is when you apply it on your skin; it’s easily being absorbed by the skin. So as what I’ve said earlier, you will experience non-sticky feeling after using it. And remember the orange beads on the lotion? They will just go together with the lotion and absorbed by the skin. You can also feel the smoothness of your skin after using it. I also love that this lotion has SPF and double sunscreen protection, worry no more for the sun exposure.

What I don’t like about this lotion is that, after using it and after the lotion is being absorbed by the skin, my skin looks dry but when I touch it, it’s so smooth. I don’t know why but that thing really happens after applying the lotion. 

 I am a Filipina with a combination type of skin and based on my experience, after using it for more than a month now; I could feel the smoothness of my skin. Before using this product, I could really feel the dullness of my skin and I felt so sad about it. My skin lacks smoothness and it just makes me look old. So, I’m just happy with the smoothening result of this product. I haven’t experienced any irritation after using this product. On the whitening side, I haven’t noticed some lightening effect on my skin. It seems that the color of my skin is just the same as before. But I think if I’ll continue on using it for more than a year, perhaps, I could experience any lightening effect by then.

CONS:

• the bottle is too thick 
• my skin looks dry after the lotion is being absorbed by the skin 
• I didn’t noticed any whitening effect on my skin 
  

Will I purchase this product again? Yes, of course. Because of all the lotions that I’ve used before, this product is really compatible on my skin and it doesn’t irritate it. It is also safe and effective so I’m not scared of using it. Highly recommended.
