Scrolling at my facebook newsfeed, I saw something that catches my attention. Sans another word, I directly click the link for I want to receive mine too. At first I thought, it already reaches the maximum number of people who fill the form. But jubilantly, I was able to register on the box provided and I was told to wait for my product to receive.
Being a whitening enthusiast, I always love to try products that claim to whiten the skin. That’s why the moment Gluta-C conducted a giveaway of free soap samples to first 3,000 people; I grab the opportunity to receive mine too for free. Whom on earth would give you soap for free right? Fortunately, I receive my own soap after 2 weeks.
I haven’t tried Gluta-C products to be honest. That’s why when the delivery truck come over to our place and gave me my soap for free, without hesitant, I directly tried it. Gluta-C Glutathione with Vitamin C with Kojic Plus is the soap I’m referring to.
As a matter of fact, the keywords that directly catches my eyes with the product is the glutathione and kojic, these terms are the most commonly added ingredients to whitening soaps nowadays right? I get so excited to try it; hoping that it could give the result I want.

It has 4X skin whitening action from the combined powers of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid and Azelaoyl Diglycinate that ensures greater efficacy. Together, Gluta-C Kojic Plus achieves a more holistic skin whitening regimen.

Anyone who would have the chance to read the product claims, I presume, would be interested in trying out the soap. The product description is really eye catching that anyone would want to buy it without another word.
PACKAGING
The packaging comes in a small rectangle box. It’s like what other soap brands’ packaging box looks like.
Talking about the soap, it comes with an orange rounded-edge shape. The name gluta-C is at the center of it. Whenever I look at the soap, I could remember the chalk thing that my grandma is using when she’s sewing a dress. She uses the chalk to like the part of the dress she will cut out. I don’t know why, I can’t help but compare the two. He-he!

SMELL OF THE SOAP
There’s nothing special with the scent of the soap. It has an identical scent with other soaps I encountered before; I just don’t remember what it is. But the scent will not make your nose feel bad. It smells so good and it’s so addictive I tell you.

The soap is available at all leading drugstores and supermarket nationwide.
MY PRODUCT EXPERIENCE
As what I just earlier, I get so excited to try the soap. After using the soap for the first time, I feel like it moisturizes and cleanses my skin so well. I was glad knowing that I find something nice to think about. I continue using the product for about two weeks, hoping to see a dramatic result, but then I was wrong. My skin feels so dry. I get discourage about the soap when my classmates told me that my skin looks dark. I directly stop using the soap.
Here’s the summary of my insights on the product claims of the soap:
4x whitening action- I don’t find a dramatic change on the shade of my skin. As a matter of fact, my skin looks darkened a bit.
Deep cleansing- Yes, I agree. It really cleanses the skin deeply. My skin feels so clean after using it.
Anti-acne- I don’t have acne so I can’t justify that this really works. Plus, I don’t use it on my face either because I find beauty soaps too harsh for the face.
3x more anti-oxidants (to help reduce toxins)- I’m not so sure if this thing works.
Non-drying (essential in protecting the skin)- I don’t agree with this. My skin really went dry after using this soap for about two weeks.
Exfoliates gently (for younger, smoother skin)-I’m not sure if it really exfoliates my skin, I can’t justify this.
Clarifies skin- i don’t agree. As what I’ve said earlier, my skin has darkened. It doesn’t clarify my skin.

The product may not reach my expectations in whitening side; I still love the product on how it cleanses my skin.
Would I purchase? Probably no.
Would I recommend it? Yes of course. Since we have different skin types and what doesn’t fit to may be compatible to you. The result varies from our skin types. Try it, who knows, it fits well to your skin and would reach your expectations.
