Due to prolonged using of my phone, I've experienced dry eyes which is very much uncomfortable. I can't concentrate doing my daily tasks for my eyes keep on distracting me.

Having dry eyes is never easy. It's like there's a foreign object in your eyes that you'd like to eliminate but you can't. The dryness of my eyes is like a soil being exposed to too much sunlight. I can't deny the fact that I regret on abusing my eyes and not taking proper care of it.

With my negligence, I had this consequence that I need treat and deal with. That's when I bought EYEMO MOISTURIZING FORMULA in the pharmacy. The price is about Php 100+. Each bottle contains 7.5 mL of formula and it has a flowy liquid type of drops, not the gel type.

This eye drops claims to lubricate the eyes.

PRODUCT CLAIMS

"EYEMO Moisturizing Formula contains a unique ingredient Hypromellose, a special lubricant that gently soothes and eases the strain from your eyes."

It also claims to refresh tired and dry eyes.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

After buying the product, I applied 2 to 3 drops in each of my eyes and I used it thrice a day for 3 days. I tried to test this product atmost 3 days to see if it gives a difference.

I also love that when I applied this product in my eyes, it doesn't hurt; it's so gentle in my eyes. Another thing is that I love its slight cooling effect.

Based on my experience, this product indeed helped in relieving my dry eyes or eyestrain while doing other methods to cure it.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS ABOUT

I don't have any issues or negative feedbacks with this product for this has helped in relieving my dry eyes.

VERDICT

I am so happy that this eye drops helped me a lot. I recommend this product to anyone who's experiencing minor problems like eyestrain or dry eyes. Moreover, it's much better to ask advise from a doctor since we don't know if what you're experiencing is purely eyestrain or  it's another eye problem that should be taken more seriously.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope this review helps!

We all know that sunscreen is very much helpful during summer season or when the temperature is pretty high. Howbeit, we should be aware that wearing sunscreen specially on the face is a year-round necessity for us to be protected from the harmful rays of the sun; so finding the best sunscreen in town is a must.

While I was on Watsons last time, I saw this sunscreen which has very much interesting claims...

"A whitening facial sunscreen cream that contains Vitamin C; Glutathione and SPF70 that protects and shields skin from UVA and UVB. Specially formulated to help make skin feel powdery and less oily."

-Helps to lighten skin
-Has SPF70
-Minimizes pore visibility
-Paraben Free
-Contains Vitamin C and Glutathione

With its promising statement, I gave it a try. It's the GT BRIGHTENING C+ WITH GLUTATHIONE DAILY SUN CARE. I bought it at Watsons with a price of Php 255.00-- 30 mL per bottle.

PRODUCT USAGE

Apply GT Brightening C+ Daily SUn Care on your face and neck at least 30 minutes before sun expsoure. For best results; apply every 80 minutes when doing outdoor activities.

With its cream, here's how it looks like...

The cream has a light brown color. It's a little bit flowy and has a very good smell. Without further ado, let me share to you my experience about this product and why I say that it's the best.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

First thing that I love about this product is the thought that it's paraben free. We all know that added paraben on beauty products or even on sunscreens is not good in our skin. Then you might be wondering what paraben is?

According to a Nutritionist and Personal Trainer, Tom Oliver, he explained that parabens allow products to survive for months, even years, in our bathroom cabinet; however when you use these products, they can also enter your body through your skin.

So we must check the label always before buying a product.

The next thing that I love about this product is how lightweight it is on the skin. Basically, this sunscreen has the power go minimize the pores and it indeed works without adding too much coverage on the skin; it gives a natural glowing look. I also love the instant white that it gives.

With its flowy texture, it could easily blend on the skin. The price is also pretty reasonable since you don't need to apply a lot of cream on your face-- a little amount of cream would do to your face. It's not also sticky on the face.

I also love that it has a high SPF; it's SPF 70. High amount of SPF which could protect our skin to sun exposure and it has Vitamin C which is good to the skin. I've also noticed that my face kinda glow a bit after a couple of months.

Based from my experience as well, when we were in Palawan last time, this sunscreen helped a lot for I haven't burnt thag bad after exposing to the scorching heat of the sun. I just applied it every 2 hours.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

I haven't had any issues about the product as for my usage aside from it could take about 3-4 minutes to set but after it sets, it's pretty pleasing on the face. And if there's one thing that I could say is with this product, I hope it has a sachet for those who'd like to try it before upgrading to the bigger one. But it's not a big deal though for the product is very worth the price already.

VERDICT

Choosing the best sunscreen is indeed hard, but this sunscreen is by far, my recommended sunscreen for it is not only promising but it delivers the best result.

I've been soaking myself on my cellphone the moment quarantine has started. I never really get busy with other things other than my phone. I even played a simulation game for straight 10 hours. I'm guilty of being so abusive with my eyes and I regret doing it.

After experiencing the consequences of my bad doing, I then started caring for my eyes.

Photo by Dhyamis Kleber from Pexels

The next day after the 10-hour soak of my eyes on my phone, my eyes felt the following:

1. Blurry Vision

This is the first sign that I felt when I realize that something is wrong with my eyes. Whenever I try to look at a distance, it's not clear. The vividness of the details is blurry even some of the near objects.

2. Eyes Hurt When I Blink

3. Dry Eyes

Dry eyes is so annoying. It seems like there's a foreign object inside the eyes even though there's not.

Dry Eyes is the result of not having enough tears to lubricate the eyes. Sometimes it's due to the blockage of the oil in the tear passage and sometimes it's because the tears evaporate so fast due to too much concentrating without even blinking or due tp the surrounding temperature.

4. Having a Hard Time Concentrating

So those are the symptoms I encountered while having eyestrain. Now, how did I cure it?

Well, looking for ways to treat it has been my top priority since I can't do my daily tasks because of it. So here are the things I did to treat my eyestrain:

1. Avoid Using Gadgets

The first thing I did to treat eyestrain was to avoid the root of it. I know it's hard at first since I get used on using my phone in a day-to-day basis. Howbeit, I instilled in mind that if I want to get cured, avoiding my phone for the meantime is best thing to do.

2. Eye Exercise

There are a lot of eyes exercise available on Youtube on Eyestrain or Dry Eyes that I tried to ease the symptoms of it. Try to look for them for they're truly helpful.

3. Warm Compress

After the eye exercise, what I did is I put a warm compress on the eyes. Warm compress will help, swear!

4. Eye Drops

I even used EyeMo Eyedrops, the blue one, as it could help in lubricating the eyes. It even gave a refreshing feeling on my eyes. I used it 2 to 3 times a day. I forgot the exact price of EyeMo but it's about Php 100+.

5. Hydrate Yourself

I read an article wherein water will help in hydrating the eyes and gives high quality tears. I admit this was hard for me to try at first, for I'm not a water drinker, but with constant motivation and eagerness to get cured, I drink 8 glasses for 1 week.

6. 20, 20, 20

It may be weird but there's a meaning of the 3 20's.
-Break every 20 minutes
-Focus an object which is atleast 20 feet
-Focus on that object for 20 seconds

So, after doing all of these things for a week. I relieve the symptoms of eyestrain and I felt so great again. Now, I learned my lesson.

Just a piece of advice to anyone who's into soaking with their phones too much, do try to take breaks and drink a lot of water-- your eyes will thank you for that.

That's it for today! I hope you're eyestrain will be treated soon of you have one. Just follow the steps above; proven and tested I tell you. Thank you for reading!

I'm so inlove with lip tints. They're like heaven for giving that natural look on the lips. With their popping colors, I can't help but be a fan of them. Organic tints are also plus.

I've been using lip tints these days, three of different brands actually and I use them in alternate. One of the lip tints I'm currently using is the CANDY BABY LIP AND CHEEK STAINS IN LUSCIOUS LUCY. I bought this for Php 50.00 online. I just saw a post about this one of Facebook and thought why not give it a try.

Php 50.00 (10 mL)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

"CANDY BABY " Lip and Cheek Stains

-10ml
-100% Organic
-Gel Based
-All natural ingredients (w/vit.E)
-Proven Long wearing and non-drying
-No bitter taste
-Highly pigmented
-Fruity scent and taste

-100% organic and safe

Here's a swatch of the liptint...

It's not actually like the usual tints for this tint is gel-based.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

The first thing that I like about this product is the thought that it's organic. I always make sure that what I'm using on my lips is organic to avoid harsh chemicals to touch my lips. So, a big thumbs up for it.

I also love how pigmented this lip stain is. I love how natural wearing this tint is. For instance, if you wear it, it seems like it's a natural lip color. You just need to balance the color and you'll end up looking great.

I actually like that it's long wearing on the lips. Yes it is, I tell you. It may not last like 24 hours but it could last on your lips like for long; depending if you eat a lot of oily or watery food and all.

I also love its smell. It's like the candy juice I used to drink when I was young. I also love its color, it's like the Korean trend lip tint color plus it's budget friendly.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

This product is also a cheek tint but I rarely use it as a cheek tint for it set so instant. For example, if your glide it on your cheek and you'll not blend it directly, it will leave a mark which is kind of unpleasing. And it would be hard to remove for it's pigmented.

Sometimes, I also feel like my lips is a bit drying. But I'm not blaming the tint for it because I feel like I don't drink much water whenever I feel like my lips is dry.

So far, that's the unlikely things I quite don't like about this product but overall I so love it.

VERDICT

Based from my experience, I so love this lip tint for I tend to use it almost everyday. I apply less often when I use it for it's long wearing. Will I recommend this product? Definitely. I so love this tint and you might as well like it. If you want a budget friendly, pigmented tint which could give you a natural looking lips, then try it.

Note: There are other shades of this lip tint to try.

That's it for this review. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you get an idea on how this product works.

It's dry season. The season where we need to hydrate ourselves more as this season makes us more thirsty. This season also makes our face dry and dull. With that, we need to ease the dryness that the weather gives.

Not to mention, my skin also gets dry. I got a lot of deadskin that I want to eliminate. That's when my aunt introduce to me a product which I tried-- it's the VITAMIN E MOISTURIZING CREAM ENRICHED WITH SUNFLOWERS OIL. I bought it from my friend with the price of Php 220.00.

200 grams (Php 220.00)

At first I was hesitant to try it as I'm not familiar with it. But as I searched it on Facebook, I realized that it's kind of popular in the market. It also has a Sunflower oil which is good as it's effective in lightening and mositurizing the skin.

This is how the cream looks like...

White and slightly flowy

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

"Skin care cream, smooth texture with nourishing vitamins E that combines the natural value of Sunflower oil. To serve for moisture balance, reducing dryness, cracking, irritation, slowing fine lines, dark circles and dark spots While protecting UV rays in the sun, revealing smooth, soft, moist, natural glow. While protecting UV rays in the sun, revealing smooth, soft, moist, natural glow."

This is also a Thai product. As we all know, Thailand is one of the countries which is so into effective beauty products; no wonder this product also clicks. Without further ado, let me share to you the effectiveness of this product.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

First and foremost, I love that it has Vitamin E and Sunflower Oil which is so much match in the skin. I alsk love its smell; swear, it smells so good. It kinda smell like Dove lotion.

The cream indeed makes my skin moisturize and it removed tediously the dead skin on my face. Before I use it, my skin tends to get dry, bit now, it's soft and fluffy. Moreover, I use it in the morning and in the evening.

I also love the soothing effect that the cream gives. It's also very light on the skin. It's also budget friendly. It also slightly brighten my face.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

I'm currently using it for about a month now and I love it. I don't have any negative feedback about it. But be aware of the imitation of it. Always look for the seller which sells authentic Thai products.

Note: It can also be used as a lotion in our body.

I've been so inlove with peachy-look these days. I find it good-looking especially during day time. It could make someone look fresh and pleasing. That's why I'm always on a look out on products which could give a peachy or autumn-look.

That's when I found out that Maybelline Superstay has this shade that I've been looking for: Globetrotter. The moment I swatched it, I knew it's the one. So I bought it on a sale price of Php 249.00, but it's originally priced at Php 349.00. Without further ado, I'll share to you my insights about the product.

What I love about the product:

1. The applicator wand of this liquid lipstick is really nice. It could glide easily on the lips.

Here's how the applicator looks like:

2. The liquid lipstick itself is not sticky and it could blend easily on the lips.

Here's the swatch of the lipstick:

3. I so love the smell of it-- smells like candy.

4. It's not heavy on the lips. It feels like I'm not wearing a lipstick because it feels so light on the lips.

5. I also love the idea that it's long wearing-- the lipstick still stick on the lips even for hours. Just don't eat too much oily food for oil tends to erase the lipstick little by little. But overall, the performance of this lipstick is satisfactory.

What I don't like about the lipstick:

One con I noticed with this liquid lipstick is that it takes quite long to set. I'll wait for a couple of minutes for it to dry. When it's not yet dry, my lips feel sticky. Howbeit, when the lipstick dries already, it feels so good.

Before, I'm not really fond of using liquid lipstick but Maybelline Superstay changed my view of it-- I love it! I highly recommend this product to those people who wants to achieve that peachy look. I also recommend it to those who wants a long-wearing lipstick. Just try it to believe it. You'll surely not regret having one.

Tip: If you found the lipstick quite pricey, look out for sale. From time to time, Maybelline has their sale anyway.

Thanks for reading! I hope this post helped you in someway.

What is sleeping hygiene? Why does it matter? Sleep hygiene is a series of routines, habits, and behaviors you partake in relation to your sleep. Unknowingly or not, each of us has our own rituals and behaviors which may impact our overall feeling of rest. Things like a 3 pm cup of coffee or sleeping in on the weekend to ‘catch up’ on sleep are examples of undesirable sleep hygiene behaviors.

Sleep hygiene is important because it can either improve or reduce the quality of sleep you are getting. A few simple tweaks can really improve the amount of sleep you are able to get – whether that is 6 hours or 9 hours.

This list is a holistic approach to improving your nighttime habits and is not a simple one-step solution.

1. Develop a night-time wind down routine

This can include:
-An Epsom salt bath
-Stretching or yoga
-Meditation
-Journaling
-Reading a book

Engaging in this series of behaviors will gradually signal to your body you are getting ready to go to sleep – and these behaviors will also aid in relaxing your mind and body.

2. Block out all light and noise

Darkness acts as a signal to your body it needs to prepare for sleep. If you aren’t able to completely control your circumstances, then things like a sleep mask and earplugs will ensure that you are able to block out as much light and noise as possible.

Alternatively, blackout curtains make a huge difference; also using masking tape to cover any small lights on chargers and cords.

3. Use a filter on electronics

Blue light from electronics can mimic sunlight and throw off our body’s natural circadian rhythm. These kinds of devices can trick our bodies into thinking it is still light outside and we should, therefore, stay awake. Apps like f.lux can be installed to block out the high frequency wavelengths that may interfere with sleep.

4. Be mindful of the temperature in the room

The ideal temperature for sleep is 60-67 degrees Fahrenheit. Keeping the room dark will aid in maintaining a cooler temperature, and a fan can be positioned near the bed as well.

5. Aim to fall asleep and wake up at a similar time each night

Waking up at a similar time will help strengthen your body’s natural circadian rhythm. Our bodies are designed to rise with the sun and sleep when it goes down – and sleeping in on weekends can throw this rhythm off.

The same goes for falling asleep at a similar time. You will find falling asleep will get easier as your body gets used to its new routine.

6. Move your body throughout the day

Being active throughout the day is beneficial for many reasons, but getting your heart rate up during the day may actually increase the length and quality of your sleep. As little as 10 minutes of walking or cycling on a daily basis is enough to reap these benefits when done on a consistent basis.

7. Stop caffeine at 12 pm

Our bodies are designed to have peak energy after waking up in the morning and should gradually drop throughout the day, ending in sleep at night. A stimulant like caffeine will cause an unnatural spike when consumed in the afternoon and may lead to a crash later in the day. Coffee and other stimulants are best when consumed in the first 30 minutes of waking up – when our bodies should be producing peak cortisol for the day!

Try to limit other substances like alcohol or chocolate to 4 hours before bedtime if possible.

8. Write down a to-do list

If you find it hard to fall asleep at night because your mind is racing with all of the things you need to finish tomorrow, take a minute to jot all of your thoughts down. Having a place to keep all of these thoughts is helpful because you won’t have to stress or worry about forgetting something – all of those thoughts will be waiting for you in the morning!

9. Worst case… use a supplement

A supplement is just that – an extra bonus to an already healthy lifestyle. If you are really struggling to fall asleep at night, things like melatonin or CBD oil can help get your body ready for sleep.

Of course, the goal is to be able to fall asleep without these products, but they can be particularly useful in the beginning when you are trying to get your body’s rhythm back on track.
