Hello everyone I'm back with my review on a pen eyeliner which I purchased recently. This pen eyeliner is a product from one of the famous brands here in the Philippines, BENCH. Are you ready? Let's start.

          Bench paint box has variety of products available on their list. These products claim to have a promising result. Now, let's review one of Bench Paint Box product which is the Bench Paint Box Intense Eyeliner. I purchased it for Php 159.00 pesos only so it's not that tight on the budget. But per pen only has 1 mL in it; need to apply enough on the eye for it to last quite a while. There are two variants of this intense eyeliner; brown and black. But black is much better for that fiercer look and brown looks like greyish and not literally brown in color.

PRODUCT CLAIMS

          A waterproof, liquid eyeliner that delivers excellent color pay-offs and stays for more than 12 hours.

PACKAGING

          The pen eyeliner comes with a gray, black and gold packaging. There's nothing special with it that it could not make your eyes pop-up. It's like the usual pen eyeliner available in the market which claims to give amazing results.

              It looks like this:

         Talking about the tip of it, it comes with a felt tip eyeliner but the felt tip is bendable which is great. Through the use of the bendable felt tip eyeliner, anyone could control the eyeliner when they tried to apply it on their eyes. I presume, there is a greater chance that applying the eyeliner on their eyes is a piece of cake; even beginners can make it almost perfect too.

SMELL

            It's funny that I include how it smells like. Ha-ha! But yes, I just did. Anyway, it smells like a bavarian cream with a menthol thingy. Funny isn't it? I smell it more than thrice to really dig in on what it smells like and yes, the ones that I mentioned earlier is what it smells closely like.

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

          I was so excited to try it out, to be honest, since I think it's a nice product. When I applied it on my eyes and try to achieve that fiercer look, I love how the felt tip can make an amazing result. I could control the eyeliner pen so easily. What I also love with it is that it's very pigmented. When I glide the eyeliner here, it will follow on my hands command without leaving any trace of inobedience. It may not dry so fast but still, it's worth the wait. The eyeliner looks so nice on the eyes and it doesn't smudge when rub lightly. Not to mention when rub with pressure, it would surely come off.

          Talking about the product claims, I don't agree that it's a waterproof eyeliner since the moment I tried putting water on my swatch, it easily removed. But I agree that it will surely last long but without rubbing off with hands or in contact with water.

             So far, this product performs well except that it's not water proof. So, if you're too sweaty, try thinking twice if you would want to try it.

        I’m inclined to recommend this product to those people who wants to try pigmented intense eyeliner at a fair price. But if your face sweat easily, think twice since it's not waterproof.

             Complying school requirements is so stressful. Burning midnight candles almost all the time to finish all the works before the deadline. It’s a hassle for me since I only have few hours of sleep. Then problems on my eyes are coming in. It becomes tired looking and dark eye bags start to shopw up. It’s a problem for me since I look like a zombie anymore.

             I look for ways. I tried the cutting of cucumbers and placing it on my eyes until the coldness vanished. I find it helpful because it somewhat makes my eyes feel refresh but it doesn’t really whiten the dark eye bags down my eyes. I find it a hassle sometimes when there’s no cucumber left anymore and I have to buy another set of cucumbers for my eyes.

             I have read articles saying that gel eye mask is helpful to bring back the tired-free, puffy-free eyes everyone always wanted. It gives an impact on me knowing that it could help me with the problem I’m in. Plus knowing that the gel mask will be refrigerated and place on the eyes, it might as well lighten my dark circles.

         As I was looking for beauty products in Watsons, I find out that they have a gel eye mask available; WATSONS GEL EYE MASK WOW ME OUT WITH ELASTIC BAND. With a drop of a hat, I bought it at Php 89.50 since I was really excited and I really hope that it could help me with my tired eyes and dark circle problems. 

PRODUCT CLAIMS

          This soothing gel mask can be used warm or chilled and is a must for tired, swollen or sore eyes, headaches or nasal congestion.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

           For a refreshing treat, place gel mask in the refrigerator for approximately one hour, or in a freezer for 20 minutes. For a more soothing relaxation treatment, immerse gel mask in about 40 degrees Celsius (not boiling) water for approximately 5 minutes. Test the temperature before applying to the face.

CARE AND SAFETY ADVICE

           Do not warm this product in boiling water or microwave oven. Do not use on irritated, infected, damaged or broken skin. People with diabetes, circulatory disease, infections, skin disorders, eye injuries etc should consult their doctor before use. For external use only. Do not puncture. If contents come into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Consult a doctor if irritation persists. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow the content of the pack.

PACKAGING

               The cellophane where the gel eye mask is placed is thick, so the mask is really protected. On the back it stated there the product claims, directions for use, warnings, manufacturer, bar code and where it’s made from. 

            In terms of the gel eye mask itself, I love it since its cut really fits on my eyes. Plus there is an elastic band to hold the gel eye mask on the eyes. It’s a good thing since you don’t have to struggle on placing it on the eyes plus holding it.

             The gel mask is so soft. I get so addicted on pinching it. I can’t help it. Ha-ha!

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

            I was surprised knowing that the product has many uses just like for tired, swollen or sore eyes and is also good for headaches or nasal congestion which is a good thing. When I first use the product I was really excited since there is a hope that my tired eyes and dark circles will be eliminated. 

          I follow what is instructed on the directions. When I placed it on my eyes, I have that refreshing feeling; it's cold anyway. It’s like I’m on a very conducive place while my gel eye mask is on. The moment the coldness of the gel mask has vanished, I dn’t notice something on my eyes but redness, maybe because of the coldness of the mask.

            On my 1 month of using it twice a week, I somewhat sense a significant change on my eyes. It’s not that tired looking anymore and dark circles are quite reduced. Maybe the vacation also helps because I could sleep enough hours already.

           WATSONS GEL EYE MASK WOW ME OUT WITH ELASTIC BAND is a nice product at affordable price plus it’s durable with proper use. With an affordable price, many things can be solved just like tired eyes, headaches, etc. It’s really a great product plus it’s not disposable just unlike the organic cucumbers. You can always reuse this eye mask.

         Hello everyone! As what I’ve said on my previous review, I’m having a problem on skin dryness due to lack of water intake. I always envy those people who have oily face. They don’t feel the struggle of having a dry one. But it’s so ironic that those who have oily skin want to have a dry skin. Ha-ha! Why is that?

             I decided to buy another facial cleanser. I unexpectedly purchased this cleanser, which I'm about to review, since I was in a hurry that time and it has a same color on my old cleanser. I didn’t realize that the purpose of the cleanser I bought is different from my old one. Howbeit, I’m happy that I mistakenly purchased this cleanser since its purpose is useful on my problem.

            SILKA FACIAL CLEANSER IN AVOCADO is what I’m talking about. This facial cleanser is for dry skin which is perfect for my problem. I bought it on the price of Php 36.75 at 150 mL. I have tried other Silka facial cleansers before in Calamansi, Cucumber and Green Papaya. The Calamansi and Cucumber give me breakouts which I certainly don’t like while the Green Papaya fits my skin but only act as a cleanser and nothing else. 

PRODUCT CLAIMS

• Skin nourished by Silka, skin so clean, so silky soft
• Silka Avocado Facial Cleanser is effectively formulated to gently wash away dirt from your skin making it look fresher and cleaner.
• It is formulated with Avocado extract and Provitamin B5 that gently moisturizes your skin leaving it soft and supple. Its pH balanced formula helps restore skin’s natural pH level. With continue use, skin will be visibly fresher and younger looking.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

           Moisten a piece of cotton with Silka Avocado Facial Cleanser. Gently apply on face and neck until thoroughly cleansed, may also be used on arms and legs. For best results, use twice daily, in the morning and before bedtime.

PACKAGING

           There’s nothing special with the container since it’s like other facial cleanser bottle wherein the cap is on the top, there is a sticker on the front which states the name of the cleanser is on its use and on the back the sticker that states its product claims, directions for use, tips, barcode, manufacturer, ingredients and mL. On the bottom of the container, there are numbers but I presume those are neither manufacturing date nor expiration date.

             On the product itself, it’s liquid and doesn’t contain any floating thing in it. It’s like other facial cleanser which bubbles when shaken. 

SMELL

              I could say that the cleanser doesn’t produce any harsh fragrance which can irritate the skin. It smells good and it’s just mild. I think it's gentle on the nose also. Even though it states that it’s avocado flavour, I can’t smell any avocado smell there.

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

           The moment I realized that I get the wrong kind of cleanser, I was hesitant first since I’m afraid that it might give me breakouts. I’m afraid of breakouts because they ruin everything. But I have no choice then so I tried it. The very first moment I used the cleanser, I could feel that it doesn’t just make my skin squeaky clean, but it also makes my skin so soft and supple. I think I agree with the product claims, it really does work. 

            I could still remember that time when one of my closest friends told me that my skin is no longer dry anymore and that surprises me. I wasn’t expected that there is a significant change on my skin. 

           As what I’ve observed after 1 month of using this cleanser is that, it made my pores quite unnoticeable. Plus it makes my skin glowing, moisturized and supple. I was really surprised by the unexpected result. I really have those 360 degrees of satisfaction with this cleanser. It’s really effective on my skin I could say. Plus the fresher face look is just awesome. 

            I’m glad knowing that this cleanser help in resolving my dry skin face problem and knowing that it's not harsh on the skin is also a plus points.

          Hello everyone! I’m back with another product to review on; lotion to be specific. I know this brand is not new to you and I already reviewed some of their products here in my repository. So, let’s start!

      I’m not the always-drinking-water-time-to-time kind of person which leads on my skin feeling dehydrated. Yeah, I know it’s a problem since I look old for my skin. Plus the scorching heat of the sun makes me tear a million dew and it yields on my skin feeling dry. 

          You might think that I’m supposed to drink a thousand gallons of water a day due to the throat drying weather; summer season feels! Unfortunately, I’m not. I cry thumbtacks and nails. Hu-hu! I get used to playing computer games or scrolling newsfeed or checking my other social media accounts and set aside the needs of my body. I know, I’ve been so abusive and it’s so sad.

           The moment I realized my body’s worth and see the problem, I then start doing a move on how to resolve the problem. I started to hydrate myself a lot; drink at least 8 glass of water a day. And then I think that lotion might help me bring back that dehydrated skin look, so I search for a lotion that fits.

         That’s where I saw this MYRA VITAQUENCH ULTRA HYDRATING HAND AND BODY LOTION inside a drugstore in our place. I’ve tested before that Myra products doesn’t contain harsh chemicals then so I give it a try plus the eye-popping product claims make me buy it with a drop of a hat. I’m really hoping this could help. I bought it for Php 124.50 pesos and it comes in a 200 mL bottle.

          Holistic Skin Care Tip: Younger looking skin lasts longer when you take care of it inside and out. Take Myra capsule to renew damaged cells from the inside then apply Myra lotion to nourish it.

PACKAGING

          There’s nothing special with the packaging, it’s like the other Myra Vitawhite lotion which I used before. But this comes with a light blue color. The opening is on the bottom and it still comes with a thick container which is not quite travel-friendly since it adds weight on the bag. 

          On the font it states Myra moniker and the type of lotion and on the bottom part of the sticker they put the purpose of the lotion. On the back of the bottle it states there the product claims, directions for use, Skin care tip, Warnings, Ingredients, barcode, manufacturer and expiration date which is very important. It’s from the Trusted Quality Healthcare, Unilab.

         When we talk about the lotion itself, it’s like other Myra product with contains orange beads which they said to be Vitamin E which will help in nourishing the skin on the outside. I love it since it has this Vitamin E which could help my skin.

SMELL

         I love the smell of the lotion. It doesn’t sting and it’s pleasing to the nose. The scent is so familiar but I don’t know where I smelt the counterpart of it. But sure thing, it smells so nice.

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

            I’ve been using the lotion for almost 3 weeks now. What I love about the lotion is that it’s non-greasy when applied to the skin. Plus the lotion is easily absorbed by the skin and it feels so light. My skin feels so moisturized after applying it. I love how the lotion doesn’t give any uncomfortable feeling on me.

            Since this lotion is said to help in hydrating the skin, let’s talk on that matter. On my 3 weeks of usage of the product, I notice significant result. It makes my skin quite hydrated. But with the help of drinking enough water also. Now, my skin looks quite moisturized.

            I don’t see any negative side on the product since it works well, dermatologist-tested and it’s also budget friendly. But it would be better if they put SPF on it so that aside from making the skin more hydrated, it also helps as protection against the sun. Plus adding a whitening formula would also be a big WOW. But it’s not a big deal for me as of now. I only wanted to make my skin look hydrated. Anyways, nothing will work overnight so I will continue using this product and I will observe the result on a gradual process. But so far, I love how this product works.

          So far, MYRA VITAQUENCH ULTRA HYDRATING HAND AND BODY LOTION delivers its promise to hydrate the skin. With just 3 weeks of usage, I could see a significant result already, how much more if I continue using it. Howbeit, sticking to the affectivity of the product alone will not yield on the expected result, it’s always important to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

           Probably YES, since it doesn’t contains harsh chemical that could damage the skin.

WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?

         YES, I highly recommend the product since it somewhat help me in making my skin hydrated. However, even though the product doesn’t contain harsh chemicals, it’s important to do the patch test first to know if the product is sensitive to your skin or not. Moreover, we have different types of skin; what works on me, may or may not work for you.

         Hello everyone! I’m back with a new review. I’ve been searching for a primer and a sunscreen lately. Good thing my sister has a product which was delivered to her by her friend from Thailand. She sells it for Php 290.00 pesos. Since I was curious on the product, I bought it for me to try. 

         The product is not just a sunscreen, but it also has many benefits. Later on, I will state each of them. The product is named as ARIYA NANGFAH SPF 50. If you could hear the name itself, it’s a skin protection against the UVA/UVB. But.... it doesn’t ends there. The Nangfah Sunscreen also acts as a foundation primer plus it could also help to make the skin whitens plus, plus, plus, it’s also waterproof so worry no more when your skin will sweat.

        One thing that I’ve noticed on the box of the product is that it’s very cute and it comes with a girly design and stylish fonts. The combination of pink, yellow and blue are perfect as it could easily attract the eyes.

       On the other hand, the container of the product comes with a small gold glass like and comes with a Thailand look design on its cap. I love the container of the product since it looks so elegant. As a matter of fact, my when my mother saw the container, she thought it’s very expensive. But anyway, it’s really quite expensive for its price since in one container there is only small amount of product inside.

PRODUCT’S TEXTURE 

     The product’s texture is very silky and I could not feel that there’s a greasy something on the product. Whenever I tap the product, it feels so foamy. 

PRODUCT’S SMELL 

       The product really smells so good and it’s very pleasing to the nose. It smells like a mild perfume that doesn’t sting the nose and it’s very addictive. 

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE 

       Even though the product only comes in one shade, it’s never a problem since it easily blends the skin. It’s true that you will not feel any greasy on the face after applying the product. It’s also different from the sunscreen I’ve tried before since it’s not heavy when applied to the face. I’ve observed the product. The product lasts on the face for about 12 hours even after sweating on the face. What I also like with the product is that it makes my skin feel smooth and supple plus it could whiten the skin which looks naturally. What I quite don’t like about the product is that the amount of product on the container is too few for its price. If only the manufacturer would add a bit more on the product’s container then it would be great.Plus it's not easy to find and only available online. 

1. Sun Protection 

-Even though it states that it has SPF 50, I didn’t depend on it since the sun is still too strong to harm the skin. But I think it helps in protecting my skin against the sun anyway. 

2. Primer 

-It’s a good foundation primer. There was one time when I tried to make it as a base on my makeup and I was impressed that it worked well on my face. It blends on my makeup well. 

3. Whitening 

-I think the whitening occurs when you applied the product on the face. What I like about its whitening effect is that it looks natural. 

4. Waterproof 

-Yes, the product is indeed waterproof since even after sweating the product stays intact on my face for about 12 hours.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while that I haven’t posted a review here on my repository. So, today, I’m back! I’ve been busy for the past days doing unimportant stuff at home. So let’s start!

Myra products are not new to me since I already tried their product before. In fact, I made a review of some of their products here in my blog. (You can check them out) Myra facial wash comes in two variants: Myra VitaWhite Whitening Facial Wash, which I already reviewed on and MYRA VITASMOOTH HYDRATING FACIAL WASH which I’m about to review here. I bought the 50 mL for Php 70.00.

PRODUCT CLAIMS

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Squeeze a pea sized amount onto your palm. Lather with water, gently massage over wet face and neck,. Rinse thoroughly with water.

PRODUCT 

The facial wash comes with a nice silky white thing. There is also an orange bead together with the facial wash. It’s also so slippery unlike the Vitawhite variant. When you rub the product it’s quite rough unlike the Vitawhite which is very smooth.

PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

When I applied and rubbed the product on my face, it’s quite rough; I think those rough thingy which contains the product would help in making the skin smooth since after rinsing my face with water, I could feel that my face is indeed very smooth. I was glad knowing that it could really add moisture to the skin. And after two weeks of using this product, I could really feel that my skin is more supple and hydrated. Not to mention, I was impressed by this product indeed. Plus it doesn’t clog the pores. The product smells so nice like the VitaWhite variant and it’s quite addictive.

-It does improves my skin’s elasticity since before, my skin looks so old due to stress but now it improves giving me the younger-looking skin I always wanted. Unfortunately, it doesn’t whiten my skin since it doesn’t have whitening formula.

4. Enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E beads which protect and nourish skin to help it healthy with a youthful glow.

-I agree with this claim. I think the Vitamin E beads really help in achieving the result I experienced with this product and for that it’s a thumbs up.

5. Hypoallergenic and Dermatologist tested. Your assurance that it is mild, effective and safe for everyday use.

-Since it’s a Unilab product, I could say it’s really safe and gentle to the skin.

               Scrolling at my facebook newsfeed, I saw something that catches my attention. Sans another word, I directly click the link for I want to receive mine too. At first I thought, it already reaches the maximum number of people who fill the form. But jubilantly, I was able to register on the box provided and I was told to wait for my product to receive.

            Being a whitening enthusiast, I always love to try products that claim to whiten the skin. That’s why the moment Gluta-C conducted a giveaway of free soap samples to first 3,000 people; I grab the opportunity to receive mine too for free. Whom on earth would give you soap for free right? Fortunately, I receive my own soap after 2 weeks.

              I haven’t tried Gluta-C products to be honest. That’s why when the delivery truck come over to our place and gave me my soap for free, without hesitant, I directly tried it. Gluta-C Glutathione with Vitamin C with Kojic Plus is the soap I’m referring to.

         As a matter of fact, the keywords that directly catches my eyes with the product is the glutathione and kojic, these terms are the most commonly added ingredients to whitening soaps nowadays right? I get so excited to try it; hoping that it could give the result I want.

What makes Gluta-C Kojic Plus different?

           It has 4X skin whitening action from the combined powers of Glutathione, Vitamin C, Kojic Acid and Azelaoyl Diglycinate that ensures greater efficacy. Together, Gluta-C Kojic Plus achieves a more holistic skin whitening regimen.

           Anyone who would have the chance to read the product claims, I presume, would be interested in trying out the soap. The product description is really eye catching that anyone would want to buy it without another word.

PACKAGING

           The packaging comes in a small rectangle box. It’s like what other soap brands’ packaging box looks like.

          Talking about the soap, it comes with an orange rounded-edge shape. The name gluta-C is at the center of it. Whenever I look at the soap, I could remember the chalk thing that my grandma is using when she’s sewing a dress. She uses the chalk to like the part of the dress she will cut out. I don’t know why, I can’t help but compare the two. He-he!

SMELL OF THE SOAP

             There’s nothing special with the scent of the soap. It has an identical scent with other soaps I encountered before; I just don’t remember what it is. But the scent will not make your nose feel bad. It smells so good and it’s so addictive I tell you.

AVAILABILITY

              The soap is available at all leading drugstores and supermarket nationwide. 

MY PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

            As what I just earlier, I get so excited to try the soap. After using the soap for the first time, I feel like it moisturizes and cleanses my skin so well. I was glad knowing that I find something nice to think about. I continue using the product for about two weeks, hoping to see a dramatic result, but then I was wrong. My skin feels so dry. I get discourage about the soap when my classmates told me that my skin looks dark. I directly stop using the soap. 

            Here’s the summary of my insights on the product claims of the soap:

4x whitening action- I don’t find a dramatic change on the shade of my skin. As a matter of fact, my skin looks darkened a bit.

Deep cleansing- Yes, I agree. It really cleanses the skin deeply. My skin feels so clean after using it.

Anti-acne- I don’t have acne so I can’t justify that this really works. Plus, I don’t use it on my face either because I find beauty soaps too harsh for the face.

3x more anti-oxidants (to help reduce toxins)- I’m not so sure if this thing works.

Non-drying (essential in protecting the skin)- I don’t agree with this. My skin really went dry after using this soap for about two weeks.

Exfoliates gently (for younger, smoother skin)-I’m not sure if it really exfoliates my skin, I can’t justify this.

Clarifies skin- i don’t agree. As what I’ve said earlier, my skin has darkened. It doesn’t clarify my skin.

            The product may not reach my expectations in whitening side; I still love the product on how it cleanses my skin. 

            Would I purchase? Probably no.

           Would I recommend it? Yes of course. Since we have different skin types and what doesn’t fit to may be compatible to you. The result varies from our skin types. Try it, who knows, it fits well to your skin and would reach your expectations.
